We offer a full rod repair and refurbishment service... anything from a minor guide replacement, to a full strip down and rebuild, splice repairs to bamboo sections and replacement bamboo sections.

Before he left us, Tom Moran took great care in making plans to ensure the continued existence of The Moran Rod Company and from my conversations with him during his last months, I know that Tom took considerable solace from the results. Tom was very pleased to leave his company name and his legacy to Calum Gladstone, his friend and fellow rod maker at Hardy Bros. In the (nearly) four years that Tom and Calum worked together they developed a remarkably close relationship both professionally and personally and they had the highest respect for each other, as rod makers and individuals. Because of his respect and affection for Tom it is Very Important to Calum that he fulfils Tom's wishes and honours his legacy with the continuation of the T. Moran range of Fly Rods.

Being a Moran Bamboo rod owner and user of a 7’6 (2 Piece) and having seen some of Calum's work whilst working for the Hardy rod company along side Tom Moran. After Tom passed away I decided to order a Moran 3 Piece rod made by Calum himself from Gladstone Fly Rods. When I received the new rod I can only explain my reaction of 'wow' what a fantastic piece of angling history in the making, not only is this a thing of beauty and a work of art, but is a superb casting and fishing tool.
Not wishing to disrespect Tom but, I can now see the pupil has become a master in his own right. I cannot praise Calum’s craftsmanship enough Moran Rods... his Legacy Continues...

Hi Calum,
I promised to send you some photos. I waited for the perfect day to take The Rod to the stream and today is the day. Sun, no wind and nice hatch. And one of the fish of a lifetime, natural born brown trout 2.5 - 3kg.
The rod was magnificent even with this big trout (4x tippet).
A day to remember!
